Check out these ongoing research projects at the Interdisciplinary Sexuality Research Collaborative! Several of the studies are ongoing and accepting participants for a survey or interviews. No need to be local to participate either!
If you identify as such, please take this super short (5 minutes, if that) survey and help contribute to research on trans masculinities!
Transmasculinity Research Project
My name is matthew heinz, and I’m a professor in the School of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. To confirm my credentials, please contact Dr. Steve Grundy, Vice-President Academic and Provost, at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’m transgender and study gender and identity. I’m inviting you to participate in a research project designed to help us understand how transgender and transsexual men understand their masculinity. The findings will be incorporated into publications and presentations on transmasculinity. It will only take you 5 minutes to participate in this very simply online survey, which will ask you 5 questions. The information you provide will be summarized in anonymous format. No identifying information will be collected. The survey data is housed on a Canadian server. The information will be maintained for a one-year period. Of course it’s entirely up to you whether you choose to participate in this survey. If you choose to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time prior to completing the online survey simply by closing your browser. Since this is an anonymous survey, your answers cannot be removed from the data collection once the survey has been completed and submitted. Your completion of this survey will constitute your informed consent. Thank you for your participation!
