Study on bisexual individuals in mixed orientation relationships

If you’re a bisexual individual in a mixed orientation relation living in or near the Minneapolis/St Paul area of Minnesota, consider participating in this research study!

Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking 18+ year old bisexual individuals for a study on mixed orientation relationships.

The study will include completing questionnaires of a personal nature and attending a small group discussion about relationships, sexuality, and health. Group discussions will be held in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota. To participate you must be age 18 or older, identify as bisexual, and currently be in a romantic/sexual relationship with someone who does not also identify as bisexual. You will receive a $20 gift card for participating when attending the focus group.

Survey for Deaf men who have sex with men

If you identify as Deaf and are a man who has sex with men, check out this survey!

The survey is confidential and in ASL. Whether you are bi/gay/queer or straight, if you are over 18 years old, live in the US and have sex with other men, this survey is for you. Your HIV status does not matter, all Deaf MSM over 18 years old in the US can participate.   Dpark logo

This is the first needs assessment of Deaf MSM so we will ask you to take the same survey twice, once whenever you choose to participate and the second time seven days later. Please be patient and make sure your experiences are counted! We have until November 30th, 2014to show that Deaf MSM have needs around sexual health education and HIV testing. We need 200 participants. Will you help us?

My name is matthew heinz, and I’m a professor in the School of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. To confirm my credentials, please contact Dr. Steve Grundy, Vice-President Academic and Provost, at steve.grundy@royalroads.ca. I’m transgender and study gender and identity. I’m inviting you to participate in a research project designed to help us understand how transgender and transsexual men understand their masculinity. The findings will be incorporated into publications and presentations on transmasculinity. It will only take you 5 minutes to participate in this very simply online survey, which will ask you 5 questions. The information you provide will be summarized in anonymous format. No identifying information will be collected. The survey data is housed on a Canadian server. The information will be maintained for a one-year period. Of course it’s entirely up to you whether you choose to participate in this survey. If you choose to participate, you are free to withdraw at any time prior to completing the online survey simply by closing your browser. Since this is an anonymous survey, your answers cannot be removed from the data collection once the survey has been completed and submitted. Your completion of this survey will constitute your informed consent. Thank you for your participation!
